Yin Yoga is the perfect practice to release anxiety, rebalance the nervous system, and calm the body and mind.
Yin Yoga is a passive, meditative, slow-paced style of Yoga. The postures are mainly floor-based and are typically held for between 2-5 minutes.
Because the postures are held for a long period of time, breath awareness and mindfulness are large parts of Yin Yoga. As you hold the postures you are guided through meditation, mindfulness and breathwork practices.
